E-Store Return Policy

New Products:

Fifth-Main will gladly authorize the return / exchange of any unworn new merchandise if a request is made within 14 days of receipt of your order.

Merchandise must be returned and received undamaged, in the original packaging. Fifth-Main offers new product exchange or a refund in the form of Store Credit.* Only unworn, undamaged new merchandise is eligible for Return Authorization: it being expressly understood and agreed hereunder that Fifth-Main will not take back worn merchandise. 

All returns must be shipped back in the original packaging and in the original shipping box (to avoid damage to the merchandise). Any returns shipped without the original box can or may be refused.

To start the return process, send an email to: Customer Service that includes the following:

  • Subject: Return Request 

  • Original Order Number

  • Reason for return.

  • An email address and phone number that you can be reached at. 

Luxury and Sale Priced Products:

Fifth-Main does not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on Luxury or Sale Priced products.

Defects or Other Concerns: 

If you have received an item that arrived with a defect or other issue, please contract Fifth-Main at Customer Service within 48 hours of receiving the item. Be sure to include: 

  • A photo of any damage / defect (including a photo of the original packaging as it arrived).

  • An email address and phone number that you can be reached at. 

 

Order Cancellation: 

Please note that there is no guarantee that, once placed, an order can be changed, modified, or cancelled after checkout. Fifth-Main will do our best to accommodate all requests but we do not cancel transactions after an item has been contracted for purchase. 

If you wish to cancel an order prior to shipping or if you have accidentally placed an order, please contact us as soon as possible at Customer Service. Please be sure to include:

  • Order Number

  • Reason for cancellation request.

  • An email address and phone number that you can be reached at.

Shipping & Handling

Free standard shipping within the continental US for all orders over $70.

All items purchased on the Fifth-Main E-Store are available for in store pick up.

If you are looking for expedited shipping, or in need of special shipping arrangements, please contact us via email at Customer Service prior to completion of checkout.

Please allow 2 business days for the packaging and shipping of products purchased online. Fifth-Main conducts all shipping Monday thru Friday. All items purchase online on Saturday, Sunday or during any other time when

Fifth-Main is closed (e.g. holidays) will ship within the following 2 business days. 

Fifth-Main, reserves the right to ship using the courier of their choice. Please allow 5 - 7 business days for delivery of items within the continental US.

Luxury Condition:

All of our E-Store Luxury items come from local sellers; therefore these items are being sold second hand. We have a team that vets each item for sale, photographs every angle and thoroughly examines condition. We do this to properly and accurately describe each and every item, but there are variations in how people view, interpret and notice condition, alterations, measurements, etc. On some items it is near impossible to mention every imperfection or catch every alteration and for this reason our listings include multiple photos covering each angle of our items for sale. The pictures are part of the description and best display condition. 

 

We are careful and selective of the Luxury items we sell according to their condition / cleanliness. Everything in this world has a scent, which varies by fabrication (materials), age, storage and prior use. Unless otherwise stated our pre-owned items are not new or factory direct.  

 

When viewing Luxury products in the E-store please review all photos provided. Exact colors and patterns of items may vary due to photography lenses, indoor / outdoor lighting, and computer monitor resolutions. 

Condition Guide: 

AA - New with tags / packaging (may show minimal signs of retail handling / shelf wear)

 

A - New without tags / packaging (may show minimal signs of retail handling / shelf wear)

 

AB - Next to new / excellent pre-owned (no significant signs of use / imperfections)

 

B - Very Good pre-owned / light signs of use (may have insignificant signs of use / imperfections).

 

BC - Good pre-owned / moderate signs of use (may have visible signs of use / imperfections)

C – Fair pre-owned condition / used (may have significant signs of use / imperfections)

Fifth-Main has a team of trained authenticators that participate in the acquisition of our items for sale. Our authenticators play an invaluable role in assuring that we only sell authentic items. Each item is professionally authenticated prior to being listed. 

Luxury Measurements & Sizing:

Size and measurements are provided as a courtesy and are not a guarantee of fit. Measurements provided are approximations as they can vary based on where they are specifically taken on any garment / item. Items listed in the Luxury category of our E-Store reach us secondhand and may have had alterations; therefore, please use any measurements provided as a guide.

Definitions​

Trade / Store Credit: Trade Credit is a physical card, issued for retail store credit, which may be applied to purchases exclusively at FIFTH-MAIN's Retail, Outlet, and E-Store locations. Trade Credit does not carry an expiration date. Trade Credit will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Trade Credit  is not redeemable for cash or check. Trade Credit may be transferred to others at the discretion of the Seller.

Additional Return Policy Details

Returns / Exchanges: 

Fifth-Main offers returns / exchanges on New Products if: 

  • The product is returned in its original and unused condition, provided that all original tags are attached.

  • Products must be UNWORN and UNWASHED. Items that appear worn, have stains, or smell of cigarette smoke, deodorant, pet hairs, odors or has undergone anything to alter the item from its original state, etc will not be accepted on return. 

  • Product is accompanied by proof of purchase (an original receipt). 

  • Product must be shipped back in the original packaging and in the original shipping box (to avoid damage to the merchandise).

Sale Products:

Any product purchased at a SALE price is not eligible for return, exchange or credit. This applies to all products purchased with the use of a Promotional Discount Code. 

Luxury Products: 

All Luxury products / items are sold "AS IS" and "ALL SALES ARE FINAL". All of our terms and pricing are in place for a reason and are not negotiable. We do not cancel transactions after an item has been contract for purchase, nor do we accept items on return. 

General Return Information: 

  • There is no guarantee that, once placed, and order can be changed, modified, or cancelled after checkout. We do not cancel transactions after an item has been contracted for purchase. 

  • Products purchased through the Fifth-Main E-Store cannot be returned at any brick and mortar Fifth-Main locations.

  • Fifth-Main will offer an exchange or Store Credit for the amount tendered on the original invoice only.

  • Customer is responsible for all costs associated with return shipping. We recommend using a shipping method that will provide a tracking number for your reference. 

  • Please allow 2 business days for Fifth-Main to receive your return request and 7-10 days for final processing of your Store Credit. 

  • If an item is returned to Fifth-Main and after inspection is found to not qualify for a return or does not include all required information the purchaser is responsible for any related shipping and handling expenses. 

  • If an item arrives to Fifth-Main for return processing and the proper protocol was not followed and Fifth-Main is not contacted by the purchaser within 7 days the item will be considered abandoned property and disposed, donated or returned to inventory as Fifth-Main sees fit. 

  • Fifth-Main cannot guarantee that an exchange product will be available. If you need to purchase a new size and return an item, we recommend purchasing the replacement size before the return has been fully processed. Our new products are often available in limited quantities and we do not want you to miss out on the item. (Store credit cannot be applied to a new order prior to completion of the Return process. All in store credits MUST be used for future purchases). 

  • Exact colors and patterns of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor / outdoor lighting, and computer monitor resolutions. These situations do not qualify as defects. 

  • Variation in color does not qualify as a defect. 

 
  • Fifth-Main is not responsible for delays in shipping caused by the courier.

  • Please make sure your address is correct prior to placing your order. Fifth-Main is not responsible for incorrect addresses. 

  • It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the shipping address provided is correct. Fifth-Main is not responsible if a package is returned to us as an un-deliverable package. If a package is returned to Fifth-Main for any reason the seller is responsible for contacting Fifth-Main.

  • If a second shipping request is made the purchaser will be responsible for all shipping and handling charges associated with the second shipping / delivery attempt. 

  • Customers will not receive a refund from Fifth-Main if the carrier loses a package (unless you purchased additional insurance prior to completion of checkout).
