Additional Details / Inclusions: Vintage c.1910's Edwardian one of a kind couture black fine wool felt and raspberry red silk cutwork embroidered mantelet. Intricately detailed cutwork with raspberry red silk underlay and ornate multicolored crewelwork embroidery. Open center front with long embroidered scalloped edge panels. Embroidery wrap around panels to back, coming to a peak. Multi-tiered black wool felt overlay on ruby red silk body. Similar piece found in the LA County Museum of art (number: 59.68.9).
