Additional Details / Inclusions: Vintage 1930's Art Deco large chrome and dark brown Bakelite/vintage plastic bib necklace is featured in Roseann Ettinger's Popular Jewelry 1840-1940, 2nd edition, page 146, and on back cover. This chrome and dark brown bakelite geometric fringed collar/bib necklace is made up of 10 dark brown rectangular fringes interspersed with geometric chrome pieces. Front section links to a silver tone round link rolo belcher chain, connected by flat rectangular grooved links. Fastens with a fish hook clasp and is adjustable in length. Necklace is Unmarked. There is no marked material, but this item appears to be crafted of bakelite (tested by E-Collectique) and chrome as reported in reference, Ettinger 1997.
