Additional Details / Inclusions: Vintage c.1940's Victorian Revival statement open work Maltese cross brass and ruby red gem brooch. Ornate open metal work setting with huge faceted ruby red glass round and teardrop shaped gems. Large center prong set round faceted ruby red glass stone is surrounded by a ring of smaller prong set round faceted red glass stones. Four large prong set teardrop shaped faceted red stones extend from center stone. All set in a open back, ornately carved, double sided brass setting. Pin fastens with a hinged safety C clasp. There are no markings on the pin however the finish appears to be gold filled.
Pin measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Large center prong set round faceted ruby red glass stone (measures approximately 21 mm) surrounded by a ring of smaller prong set round faceted red glass stones (measuring approximately 5 mm).
Four large prong set teardrop shaped faceted red stones (measure approximately 25 mm L x 12 mm W at widest section) extend from center stone.
