Additional Details / Inclusions: Extremely rare c.1825 swans-down feather palatine stole. Incredibly soft swansdown is hand-tied on a coarsely woven natural fiber base. This piece is nearly identical to item 1983.157.2a from the Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection, and also very similar to pieces in the Museum of Fine arts Boston (46.703) and the Kyoto Costume Institute (AC5646 87-27-1) **Please note a top and pair of pants were photographed that are NOT included in this sale**
